My name is Alex Seifert and I’m a professional developer. For over two decades, I’ve been building websites and programs using a plethora of different languages and technologies. I’ve had a website since the mid-nineties when I first started crafting them with Microsoft Frontpage 98 and have owned alexseifert.com since about 2000.

In my spare time, I write a lot of blog articles, experiment with various new and old technologies, play drums and bass, and enjoy reading and writing in the realms of horror and history. You can find most of my blog posts on this blog, but there are a couple of my other blogs listed below.

Most of my programming experiments can be found on my GitHub profile. You can also find the npm packages I’ve published on my npm profile.

More information about me is available on my online portfolio.

I’m generally not very active on social media other than posting links to my blog posts, but you can still find me on LinkedInMastodon or Bluesky.

You can also follow this blog by subscribing to one of the RSS feeds.
