AI is a very controversial in the blogosphere and with good reason. This is how and when I use AI.

I don’t really use AI at all for writing. I might use it for the occasional grammatical clarification or to help avoid too much repetition in my phrasing if I can’t come up with alternatives using the good ol’ fashioned thesaurus, but I never use it to generate post content. Blogging is a hobby of mine and losing myself in the writing process is a true joy. Having an LLM generate my posts would ruin the experience for me, so I don’t and won’t do that.

That said, I may occasionally post AI-generated content. However, it will be clearly marked as such and relevant for the topic of the post. It will not be the post itself.

Images

Images are fair game for AI on this website. If I don’t find a relevant image on Unsplash or a logo or some other image that represents the post content, or if I just simply have a good idea for an image I want, I will use AI to generate it. For the most part, I use Google Gemini.
