Does anyone ever remember GEOS, for the Commodore 64 and Vic 20??? 1983 or so, I think.
You know, we could take a current mac and reproduce that exact demonstration today with no modification. Using your exact words and exact same mouse movements, that demo would work today! The loads would be a bit faster, and the screen a bit more colorful (I’d set it to B&W in prefs), but the icons around the screen (I’d hide the dock), the windows, the “elevators” in the scroll bars, the methods of dragging, cutting, pasting, resizing, …
