My Website

Recently, I decided to start a blog in German. I named it Alex’ Notizbuch which is a direct translation of Alex’s Notebook.

I redesigned the Notes section of my blog so that it now uses a traditional blog format.

Alex’s Notebook received a new design today which is based on the WordPress theme for Developer’s Notebook.

It’s been a number of years since I last updated my website and blog, so it was past time that I do major rewrite. I re-conceptualized both websites so that they support both light and dark modes, feel more modern and are more enjoyable to use.

I have continued to take advantage of the extra time provided by the coronavirus to rewrite my portfolio website using Next.js and Material UI.

I have been taking advantage of the additional time I’ve had at home during the coronavirus pandemic to redesign and rewrite a bunch of my websites using newer technologies. Version 3.0 of my blog was released this morning.
